To introduce your pet to the Pawpoose:

First, wear it yourself--without your pet.  Try adjusting the size.  Perhaps even try it out with a stuffed animal.  Wear it long enough to give it your "smell."

Place it on the floor and put a treat near it to encourage your pet to explore it.

Get on your pet's level and interact with them by touching the carrier and encouraging your pet to do the same.  Liberally praise them.

Once you and your pet are comfortable with the Pawpoose, put it on again.

SIt in a chair on the ground and place your pet n the carrier for the first time.  It may help to loosen the shoulder strap to allow more room for placing the pet in the carrier.

Adjust the sizing by pulling fabric through the rings until you and your pet are both comfortable. 

Begin with short trips, keeping your pet in the carrier only as long as they are comfortable and cooperative.

Please keep your pet safe in the Pawpoose:

Use only with cooperative pets.

Always pay attention to your pet's comfort and safety.

Always use the interior safety clip.

Only participate in safe, non-athletic activity while holding your pet in the carrier.

Never "pawpoose" your pet while driving.

Occaisionally inspect the Pawpoose to ensure its stability.
